i was bleeding the brakes in the 240 today and broke the right rear off luckily it broke while it was tight but what can i use to get it outof the drum. please help car has no brakes

A hanson extractor. Easy-out, in other words. You don't even need to drill a hole.

nah they freeze up over time. my ranger did that once.

Yep. They do. 'specially if you don't bleed or flush very often. Add to that the fact that brake fluid is hygroscopic (soaks up water)...240? As in Datsun? You won't find those wheel cylinders for any paltry 8 dolla. Those are pretty damn special wheel cylinders...they only have one piston, and are designed as a floating assembly.You'll be lucky to find it for under 50 or 60 bux.

if you use an easy out, go ahead and get a kit and rebuild the cylinder. you don't want metal flakes in there

well i drilled it out and replaced it and now i new a now master cylinder. just put an msd coil and igintion box in it. runs like a top just cant stop. dont know whatkind of cam is in it but its nasty as hell
