In the 1st half you might be able to say that. Andre ripped off two big runs that led to 10 points, but otherwise our offense was anemic. Had State repeated that performance in the 2nd half, you have a case that FSU choked.

BUT...

Even though the FSU offense played badly, at least face facts and admit that happened in part because of State's Defense. Hudson, Lawson, and Mario in particular were beastly. Weatherford, the best ACC passer statistically next to Vick, had a terrible time finding open receivers when he wasn't busy being hurried, hit, and sacked. The secondary did a phenomenal job overall, even with a few choice gaffes (see FSU 1st TD).

I saw a Wolfpack defense that allowed only 5 points after two blocked punts that gave FSU the ball deep in Pack territory. I saw a freshmen running back run for 179 yards on your self proclaimed mighty FSU defense. I saw a Pack offense that finally played like a cohesive unit in the 2nd half.

Finally, I saw a NCSU team that continued to reduce stupid penalities (two personal fouls not withstanding) and NOT TURN THE BALL OVER. The team is playing well....
