Especially when they are so outdated that the correct answers aren't correct anymore. I'm a Cold Fusion Developer who started 3 years ago with 6.1MX and recently 7.0. My company can't really do an evaluation on me since I'm the only coder so they hire "ReviewNet" to give me a test to test my knowledge. I'm sent a 20 question quiz for Cold Fusion 5.0. It was an interesting conversation as the "rep" said to me it's exactly the same thing that you use now. No... no it's not. Not even close. I finally said on a conference call with my boss in the room to the rep, lets call Macromedia and ask them. ReviewNet refunded all of my companies money. So, for those of you out there. If your company makes you take a reviewnet test... just bring in a 4 year old book and claim you need it for reference since the test is so fucking old.

you pretty much have to not be producing results for non-techies to desire third-party verification that you can do what you say you can do...if I were you, I wouldn't be elated that ReviewNet doesn't have the right test, I'd be scared shitless that they'll find someone who does...

Reviews = raises. When you don't have anyone who can evaluate you but... you... how would you rate yourself when raise time comes around. That's the CEO's thoughts. They also wanted to gauge my level of knowledge of Cold Fusion for future comparison. Their test was a joke and even had wrong answers. That said... I was also reviewed by RMSource, and scored a 98% overall so uh... in the words of a 9 year old..P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
