So the university owns the house that I live in... many of you have been to parties at it... its the one with the belltower and the block S made out of beer cans...They made accomodations and let me stay here until I graduated... I graduate in December and then we have to be out...So sad... it was the perfect house... ON centinial campus... no neighbors... big yard... worst thing is I think I'm going to grad school at NCSU now... and I have to move out of this perfect location into something inevitably further away where I probably won't have space for my boat or the belltower... worst thing is, the university just doesn't want a house there... they are going to bulldoze my house and the one next to me and just leave the lots empty... seems like SUCH a waste... yay beuracracy... I hold no animosity towards NCSU since they did allow me to stay here for longer than was scheduled... but its just sad...

How old is the house?
11/4/2005 1:06:42 PM
this is the time to move the house to a new lot and buy some land.
11/4/2005 1:07:58 PM
heh, the house was built in 1957 or something like that and it has REALLY REALLY shitty insulation... our heating/cooling bills are rediculous... it was the location that made the house awesome
11/4/2005 1:08:54 PM
Ah, okay.Because had it been there for longer than that there would be the whole historic angle. But yeah, it sucks.
11/4/2005 1:15:51 PM
that sucks B

^Yep. If it was from the 1920's or something I would be upset. But very little attractive architecture came out of the 50's.I'm still pissed at Farmhouse for tearing down the turn-of-the-century house that used to be their residence.

This monstrosity has to stop! We have to setup a petition and call the President! Call your senators, they won't get away with this! FIGHT THE POWER!

we might throw something before we have to move out... but I have 3 HUGE projects due this month and then exams... and I haven't been working so I can't really afford to front the $1k that I typically do to fund a huge event.I'm actually breaking out the wetsuit and going wakeboarding today

This is kind of ridiculous and unrelated, but I have this work by an outsider artist by the name of Raymond Thunder Sky (retarded middle aged Native American) which is titled "Dayton jail is being torndown".
