I expect a low scoring game (in the teens or twentys) with one or two big plays on each side deciding it.Miami 24V Tech 17
11/4/2005 8:17:37 AM
go hurricanes for this one plz
11/4/2005 9:47:20 AM
VT- 31UM- 13VTech's Defense is too much for Wright. Also VTech i don't think will come out and play half-ass, with a decent sized win over UM the BCS gap between them and Texas will shrink. Because we all know USC is going to finish #1.[Edited on November 4, 2005 at 11:07 AM. Reason : edit]

I think nobody is giving Miami a chance, this game should be close. I still think Tech will win because their QB is better. Vick>Wright.

Kyle Wright can't beat them, but Tyrone Moss can. If Tech can shut down the running game like they did against Boston College, it'll be a long night for Miami. But if Miami can run like West Virginia did against the Hokies, then it's going to be close.

11/5/2005 10:24:03 PM
11/5/2005 10:24:13 PM
^^^Nah man... gotta pull for VT. The ACC needs a Championship team...especially to fuck over the BCS. Either way, I'll always pull for a State school over the other guys[Edited on November 5, 2005 at 10:25 PM. Reason : asdfad]
11/5/2005 10:24:51 PM
And even the VT fans boo their team. hah now if BC would have beaten Carolina today. damn it. I'm 2-1 on my calls today.
11/5/2005 10:29:40 PM
Wow, Vick just got smacked.
11/5/2005 10:30:00 PM
Man, just when things couldn't get worse, they make something good happen. I still doubt they'll come all the way back. This is shocking.
11/5/2005 10:30:48 PM
^^ VT deserves to be booedas did our team when the booing was going on. We should expect better QB play and less dumb penalties. VT should be a little more woken up for this game being the #3 team and all
11/5/2005 10:31:23 PM
I can see it now: "Vick was brillant as Miami edges VT 41-0."
11/5/2005 10:33:00 PM
There must be alot of quality 15 years olds there distracting Vick.
11/5/2005 10:33:05 PM
lol yeah he was just cussing up a storm so the camera shot away from him as they were cutting to a commercial
11/5/2005 10:34:06 PM
^^^ Sad, but true
11/5/2005 10:35:50 PM
Miami needs to tighten up on D. They need a shut out for to look good for the BCS as the best one loss team.
11/5/2005 10:37:41 PM
Pi Master of NC: yeah, this sucksPi Master of NC: I mean, I like the hokiesPi Master of NC: and I'm a devout miami haterPi Master of NC: of course, if this provides even a brief respite from the perpetual vick knob-slobbery that takes place in bristolPi Master of NC: it might jsut be worth it]

Vick WHAAAATTTTTTT
11/5/2005 10:40:41 PM
"Receiver fails to make easy catch as Vick throws another perfect pass that ends up as an interception."
11/5/2005 10:41:24 PM
Miami should get the second string some game experience...
11/5/2005 10:43:15 PM
jesus fucking christ they're sucking Vick off at every turn
11/5/2005 10:48:25 PM

11/5/2005 10:49:30 PM
exactlyanyone else notice that he didn't have the visor thing on in the 1st half?i guess that glare was bothering him
11/5/2005 10:50:53 PM
aha...wasted movement....Like WTF do they expect? A Qb to throw the ball and do the Conga afterwards... dammit I hate the Vick lovefest
11/5/2005 10:51:12 PM
11/5/2005 10:53:53 PM
They need to take Vick out. Miami's D line is trying to kill him.
11/5/2005 10:54:25 PM
11/5/2005 11:03:50 PM

i actually was pulling for VT in this game, but i'm actually glad that they got thumped in their own stadium. some of their fans think that they are an elite team. i do think that they are one of those teams that are a step under elite though. i was especially happy to see the almighty Lane Stadium as quiet as a HS stadium after i saw a sign that looked like this at the beginning of the game: Loudest stAdium iNAmEricaloudest stadium my ass. i went there for our game against them last year, and while our game wasn't as hyped as a Miami game, they were definitely not as loud as C-F was during that 02 FSU game. i think most of us would agree that our stadium isn't thought to be loud when compared to the likes of LSU's Tiger Stadium, UW's Husky Stadium, UT's Neyland Stadium, OSU's Ohio Stadium and UF's BHG Stadium aka "The Swamp." i'd say that probably Clemson's Memorial Stadium is the loudest stadium in the ACC.[Edited on November 8, 2005 at 12:19 AM. Reason : dammit i can't line up the letters ]

Any stadium will be loud when you play highly ranked teams. Ours was probably as loud as lane last year before the miami game, and probably close during the VT game this year...at least for the first quarter or so. The thing about Lane is that their fans are in it for the whole game, and they are consistently louder than anywhere in the ACC. Even when they were down 20 or whatever they still seemed fairly loud. I would say CF gets as loud as anywhere in the ACC, the only problem is our fans tend to fall asleep when we're A)winning or B) losing. Some of our fans also do not understand that you're supposed to be loud while they're in the huddle, not only while they're on the line. Lane is consistently loud no matter what. Thats the difference...IMO...I've never been there though...I'm just comparing it to what I see on TV, which is pretty impressive.
