2001 chevy s10 v6 - it has an antifreeze smell all the time and sometimes fogs up the windows.....any ideas?

well chances are there that it is, if you have the time, dig into your dash and try to get a look at the heater core, might be a small crack in one of your pipes, but if it is leaking, it's just going to get worse, so i'd go ahead and fix it

if youd like me to do it, i might could use some $$.... get some REAL quotes locally and PM me and i will beat their price, you supply the parts, but I wont use anything but a new GM heater core.

Are they the cores that have the pipes that are free to rotate? The ones that were born to leak?Seems to me, GM has had their fair share of electrolysis problems to boot.Oh, as far as antifreeze smell...could be your truck has a really nasty pussy...[Edited on November 2, 2005 at 12:07 AM.
