call the dealership and give them your VIN#. I've done this before, and they were able to do it over the phone.

^^ Some radios go into antitheft mode when the battery is disconnected. This can also happen when a battery dies. You have to enter the radio code to use the radio again.

I put the factory cd player back into my DSM and I got that code prompt. I got a serial number off the back of the cd player and I called the dealership and gave that to them and they gave me the code. If they try telling you that you have to bring the car in, don't do it and call another dealership, cause they'll charge $20+ for that
