Im sure, since pratice about improves everything, however im looking for guides for simple basic things, and also guidlines on what makes a good site desing. YES i can visit differernt pages or google this myself. I was just wondering if people had encountred websites that contained useful information on web development.

Buying books for web dev is stupid because books are expensive and give you the same material you could get for free on the internet.Here's a very good resource to get started with your basics:http://www.w3schools.com/They have plenty of examples and reference sheets to look up tags.

w3schools is just about the only source you will need to get your feet wet and then some for awhile
