Reading the Goodfellas thread made me think of this. I'm sure it's been done, but I haven't seen anything recently. So here goes my top 10:

1) Godfather Part I
2) Godfather Part II
3) Goodfellas
4) Once Upon a Time in America
5) Casino
6) Scarface
7) Carlito's Way
8) Donnie Brasco
9) Untouchables
10) Godfather Part III

Just outside of top 10

The following are either just outside of the top 10 or I don't know if they are mobster movies:

- A Bronx Tale
- Road to Perdition
- The Usual Suspects (don't know if it's mobste)
- Reservoir Dogs (liked it, but not loved it like a lot of other people)
- Heat (one of my favorite, but not necessarily mobster)

I know people hate on Godfather III...but I think they do so because they compare it to the frist two.

It's not even close to being as good as the first two, but no movie is. I think the ending sucked...but in all, it's not a bad movie.

boondock saints isnt really a gangster movie in the sense the others are

i dont think untouchables qualifies that much either since it focuses so much more on the cops.

that said, if untouch IS on the list, it def deserves to be above scarface and carlito's way.

and 4 of the other 5 you listed i know to be abvoe GFIII
