I think those Type R's are still going up. One of my friends bought one a couple of years ago for ~$17k with 25k miles or something. Now I'm seeing the low mileage ones over $20k fairly often. Acura needs to step up the RSX-S game with a LSD and some better handling.[Edited on October 20, 2005 at 4:04 PM. Reason : s]

Only an idiot would pay over value for a VW.
10/20/2005 6:13:06 PM
^coming from the person who considers a motor replacement at 100k "preventative/normal maintinance".that thing isn't gaining a bit of value sitting over here in the same parking lot as my trooper. the value just plumeted...
10/20/2005 7:58:11 PM
^haha man, is that spray on mud on that thing? hah i swear it rained and the mud never changed!
10/21/2005 9:34:01 AM
I paid 7k for my 99 civic 2 years ago, All of them I have seen for sale lately go for at least 7 if not higher.
10/21/2005 10:08:14 AM
used hondas do seem to be overvalued these days. my lil bro was looking in the 10 yr old range and said ppl were asking at least 4k for em.
10/21/2005 10:36:01 AM
^^^lol, nah it's from a trip last weekend. it hasn't rained since then (i don't think?). i'm waiting for some though so i don't have to wash it.

Have you said what car you're talking about.i find it hard to believe that any car other than an exotic or a newly released car with under 5 - 10k miles on it could fetch that much over new retail. Why would anyone buy yours for more than they could get a brand new one for? Ferarri's and some new porsche's, but this is usually only when someone gets a deal and pays invoice price, but I still don't get it.
10/24/2005 9:40:00 AM
its an R32.
10/24/2005 10:24:06 AM
A used Toyaota Prius is going for more than a new one now. People don't want to wait for them.
10/24/2005 10:31:14 AM
yeah mine has went up in value like 4000% from its cost new
10/24/2005 12:18:04 PM
I think my 240SX has actually appreciated in value; not really by NADA but by prices I've seen on autotrader and Ebay.
