so on my bike, bc im pretty tall my knees are real bent, and the so when my feet are on the pegs, they naturally point down at a pretty steep angle. Shifting has been hard to learn but one of the hardest parts is that i have to move so much to shift, instead of just little flicks. question is can i lower my shift, and brake lever like a inch, just lower the angle not the whole mechanism. this would help me out alot in comfort and speed of shifting. It looks like it can easily be done, but with an engine that isnt 2 stroke and revs up to 14k, im a little hesitant to just try shit out.

yamaha fz6 2005it looks like you can do 2 things, withdraw the arm by twisting it with a wrench and push the lever down or manually change the angle by loosening the bolt, adjusting the retightening

that sounds about right

yes, so which one, the shortening of the arm seems like it may mess with the way it shifts, it shifts fine, just i guess the guy before me was 5'2"

oh - adjust the linkage with the threaded rod - screw it in or out to fit your needs - on both sides
