i used isopropyl (sp?) alcohol wipes, the kind you get at a drugstore for injections, and it worked out real well. it tends to streak, so i used a microfiber cloth to polish them off.

I use a damp cloth... it's a bitch to get it to dry streak-free sometimes, but it's nice to know that I'm not potentially damaging anything

Nailpolish remover.

you could always pick up the LCD screen wipes at any computer/electronics store. But yeah, that's probably a waste of money even though you know it SHOULD be safe.

MURIATIC ACID

buy a bottle of isopropyl alcohol for <$1, mix 1/4 iso w/ 3/4 water and use a non-abrasive towel.works like a charm.

you could also clean it with decent vodka

grey goose.for every dab on your screen, and take shot. the combined effects with gaurantee you don't notice the fuzz and dirt on the your monitor anymore
