$7.99 used at CD Warehouse in Cary. ONE copy of it. Better pick it up if you don't have it since they retail for $39.99 everywhere else.

Uh, The Royal Tenenbaums retails for between $12-15, since it's distributed by Touchstone.

Criterion produced the DVD, but Touchstone distributes it just like they would any other DVD. It costs $14.99 new at Amazon.

Kodiak is right. Naturally, Touchstone wanted to release a DVD, and Criterion wanted to do a release of the film, so they just agreed that Touchstone would distribute it. I got it for less than 15 bucks at Best Buy.[Edited on October 16, 2005 at 6:17 PM. Reason : ...]

I was under the impression that all Criterions retailed for $39.99. Every one that I see at Suncoast or wherever is $39.99.

^^ Not all Criterions retail for $39.99. That's more or less the upper limit. Most are 30-35.

The Brazil one was close to 50 bucks. Well worth it, though; best DVD set ever.
