10/14/2005 12:45:44 PM
Huge Grant and Colin Firth were candidates? Are you fucking kidding?!?!?He looks familiar, but outside of Road to Perdition I haven't seen any of his stuff (and I don't recall him from that movie at all). We'll see how it goes I guess.
10/14/2005 12:47:51 PM

10/14/2005 1:34:55 PM
kick ass
10/14/2005 1:50:23 PM
when i first heard the rumor last spring it was him i was kind of dissapointed because I wanted Clive Owen but after Layer Cake, I was pulling for Craig, he is far and away a better actor than Owen
10/14/2005 4:18:00 PM
Pierce Brosnan is irreplacable
10/14/2005 4:31:42 PM
MAYBEbut lets hope the way the movies were turning out is replacablejeezthat last one (with halle berry) was hideous
10/14/2005 4:36:13 PM
^Yeah exactly. Goldeneye was incredible, I loved it. Die Another Die, however, was just plain bad. I don't think this was due to Pierce Brosnan though, he has been a pretty good actor in all the films I have seen him in.
10/14/2005 4:43:22 PM
haha, i felt like dying another die after i saw it
10/14/2005 4:47:46 PM
I still like Roger Moore the best of all the Bonds. I will watch this movie over and over just like the rest even if he isnt a good Bond actor.
10/14/2005 5:16:33 PM
the ideal new bond would be clive owenbut he didn't want the partif not brosnan, then Craig will workBrosnan got shafted with ridiculous plotshe never got his From Russia with Love/Goldfinger/The Spy who Loved Me/For Your Eyes Only/The Living Daylights movieGoldeneye was great, but the ones after that were disappointing when compared to Goldeneye
10/14/2005 6:12:36 PM
10/14/2005 6:43:13 PM
^Where do you think Scotland is?
10/14/2005 6:44:44 PM
IN BRITAIN!!!!!!!
10/14/2005 6:54:47 PM
i think we are headed in the right direction... all we need is a good bond girl and a good script
10/14/2005 7:37:44 PM
Martin Campbell is directing it too, he also did Goldeneye. That was Pierce's best one so maybe this one has a chance. I just hope its more suave like the old ones (Thunderball, GoldFinger) instead of having all that damn CGI
10/14/2005 8:22:51 PM
BUT THE CAR WAS INVISIBLE
10/14/2005 8:43:17 PM
he isn't nearly as hot as Pierce
10/14/2005 8:48:05 PM

10/14/2005 9:48:39 PM

it'd be like someone saying you're an americanand then saying "the bloody hell i am, i'm a texan" or wherever you're from
10/15/2005 10:39:59 AM
my favorite bond...by far is sean connery...he definately set the bar that every other bond has had to meet since he ceased being bondwith that being said...[Edited on October 15, 2005 at 12:34 PM. Reason : this guy has a look that reminds me of sean connery]
10/15/2005 12:20:18 PM
^He kind of reminds me of Christopher Eccleston (See Dr. Who 2005) when his hair is short in those pics.
10/15/2005 1:56:14 PM

Wales, Scotland, and England were all distinct countries/kingdoms for hundreds of years, and still have very distinct accents and cultures, although that is something that is beyond most Americans.
12/22/2005 2:57:07 PM
texas was a distinct country (and could be again if i understand the state constitution) and was ruled at various times by 5 different countries, and texans certainly have their own accents and customsimmediately between secession and the forming ofthe CSA, several "slave" states were their own nations for the most part; borders and nationalities are all imaginary in the end[Edited on December 22, 2005 at 3:05 PM. 12/22/2005 3:05:05 PM
^ i support re-releasing texas into the wild
12/22/2005 3:21:31 PM
BobbyDigital nailed it. Woodfoot, the comparison between the regionalism of Texas and that of Great Britain isn't nearly the same. It is the same idea, but England, Ireland, and Wales were individual countries for longer then Texas has been known to exist by the white man.
