Hey, I'm trying to make a graph for biology with 2 Y axes, and I understand how to do that and all, I'm just having trouble figuring out how to label the 2 Y axes, I need one to have a Degree sign in it (I know how to do that in the spreadsheet, by choosing Insert Character) and the other to have a 2 subscript, but I won't let me select the Insert Character tab for the one axis, and the other disappears behind the graph so I can only see the top line when I try to subscript the two after I have clicked finish graph. Any help?

you can usually right-click on each line/axis to label it... it says something along the lines of "format". I'm not sure about the subscripting but for the symbol-insertion sometimes it lets you get away with paste if you've copied it from previously using it. Sorry if that's confusing - it's kinda hard to talk thru

I checked for a subscript 2 in the character map and couldn't find one, so I'd say the best way to do it would be the following.

Open up MS Paint, create an image of a 2 in the same font as your labels on your graph, save it as a bitmap, and use Insert -> Picture - > From File and manually place it into your graph where you need it. It's kind of an ass backwards way to do it, but hey.

You can do the same for a degree symbol or you can use the character map. Click Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character Map. Find your degree symbol, select it, and press copy. Then all you need to do is paste it into the fields when you define your graph by pressing CTRL+V.
