Picked it up yesterday, haven't installed it yet.

Sad it doesn't have multiplayer support like the first one.

It looks beautiful though.

I'm on the 3rd stage, where you take on the norse.

The other god is annoying as hell, he keeps on repeating the same phrases.

The game gets pretty repetitive as an RTS after awhile.

^every time i tried to play the first game, i'd quit after about 15 minutes because of the 2 hour tutorial that there's no way around.

I played the original. I get "the point" of the game. I just think that they have an awesome idea, but haven't taken it to where it should go. The RTS genre is very multiplayer oriented, and I think this game needs to go there.

I can see what you're getting at; it doesn't matter to me personally, because I don't play multiplayer games anyway, but I can see how it would be fun that way.

I'd say they got this one very right. I bought the first one, but I never managed to get into it because it ran so slowly on my PC at the time, the tutorial was boring, etc, etc.

This one, though...it's just fun. I got completely caught up in it this weekend, and when I intended to just play for a little while, I'd look up at the clock and see that I'd been playing for four hours.
