not pointless

helps keeps weight over front tires (ideally I would say just put the full weight on the wheelie bars instead of using the rear tires )

most racing organizations won't let there be a preload on the bar, tho. the wheels on hte wheelie bar must spin freely when the car is standing still.

yeah thats what i was thinking.

otherwise it isnt a wheelie bar, but a wheelbase extension.

just intended for preventing wheelies. nothin to do with putting weight on the front.

prevents the rear end from squatting and reduces weight transfer, just keep the wheels on the wheelie bar 1/4" off the ground when the car isn't moving.
