i wasn't sure whether to post this in the garage or here but...

the cd player in my car (Honda factory) is messed up. i took a CD out (no differently than the thousands before) and it made a kind of rumble noise. the display then read "E-01". now, it no longer accepts CDs. i got really frustrated with it and (even though i know it probably wasn't a great idea) i pushed a cd in there to see if it would grab on to it. it didn't, i hit eject and it ejects just like normal. the radio works fine so it's not like the whole thing just shut down.

somebody told me to stick a CD cleaning disc in there but it won't accept CDs...so that doesn't work. someone else told me to blow inside, thinking there might be dust in it. didn't help.

any ideas before i have to go pay someone to tell me what's wrong with it?
