20 over the limit? youre screwed. the good old days of city code violations are over.
9/29/2005 8:17:17 PM

9/29/2005 8:25:15 PM

9/29/2005 9:11:02 PM
them ole boys were back at it again.
9/29/2005 9:22:23 PM
link? What exactly does the ordinance say?
9/29/2005 9:22:54 PM
i dont know, this is info direct from james crouch. probably applies to people with driving records like mine and BigBlueRams more than it does to pussies like you
9/29/2005 9:28:43 PM
i think i hold the record for being 78MPH over the posted limit if u beat that then i give u props for being a dumbshit like me!
9/30/2005 12:24:33 AM
what ended up happenin to you?
9/30/2005 12:28:18 AM
what exactly does it say?
9/30/2005 12:28:47 AM
20 over and you can be arrested
9/30/2005 1:38:04 AM
i thought it was 15 actually
9/30/2005 1:40:10 AM
My worst was 65 in a 45 mph work zone. got reduced to 9 over but I still had to pay the $250 fine.
9/30/2005 2:05:59 AM
^^ cop told me 20 the other night
9/30/2005 2:06:25 AM
as far as i know 20+ over has always been felony speeding, just not enforced in the manner it can be.
9/30/2005 8:22:10 AM
95 mph over, on a closed track of course
9/30/2005 10:25:56 AM
Yup, what Grapehead said.Never been pulled for less than 20 over the cop has always told me that they could take my license on the spot. They alway write the ticket at 19 or less over though.
9/30/2005 10:57:11 AM
9/30/2005 11:07:46 AM
nigga i drive whatever i feel like, fuck the police
9/30/2005 11:10:48 AM
Speeding 20 over is not a felony. It is a misdemeanor. They can arrest you for anything over 15 over. I am not 100% sure on this, but the difference is something like anything less than 15 over is a citation (which you can just pay through the mail) and anything over 15 requires you (or your lawyer) to show up in court.p.s.
9/30/2005 11:42:36 AM
yeah, a cop threatened to arrest my mom one time for going 50 in a 35 then didnt even give her a ticket, what a douche
9/30/2005 1:09:48 PM
I have a criminal law class with Judge Overby, who does preside in Wake county. I can ask him about this.I'll send him an email right now in fact...[Edited on September 30, 2005 at 2:53 PM. Reason : .]

I'm sure he has better things to do...
9/30/2005 3:42:01 PM
nah he loves to ramble on about shit... I'd ask him in class next week but I think I'm gonna skip, since it's Wednesday night and we have fall break and all.
9/30/2005 4:00:39 PM
^^its Wake County. I doubt it.My personal best is 90 in a 25 [Edited on September 30, 2005 at 4:05 PM. Reason : ^]

9/30/2005 4:15:43 PM
^hehe, yeah hell no^^I take back my previous statement. 135 in a 65 beats out 90 in a 25.(of course I'm making all this up )
9/30/2005 4:20:42 PM
170 in a 65 once, and 160 in a 55 plenty of times (motorcycle).worst i've ever done in a car is 138 in a 55.
9/30/2005 5:18:56 PM
I have a 3rd gear rule. I never go beyond third gear when I'm getting on it... that limits me to about 95mph. I get worried about the cops, traffic, or the car getting away from me. So I'd say 95 in a 55 is the worst I've done.[Edited on September 30, 2005 at 6:06 PM. Reason : .]
9/30/2005 6:05:33 PM
I've never done 135 in a 60 before.
9/30/2005 6:11:35 PM
9/30/2005 6:26:07 PM
150 was the highest i ever hit (on a motorcycle) and that was just what the speedometer said, who knows how fast i was really going (under 150), in a 55mph zone though so i guess that means 95 over..sold the bike that day actually

10/1/2005 1:44:50 PM
i got the biggest e-dick
10/1/2005 1:59:45 PM
^^^exactly, i call bs too. especially in a "honduh". my worst speeding ticket (not traffic offense) is a 103 in a 60 i guess. i've been pulled for 82 in a 35 and let go. fastest i've been on a public road is ~160. highest over the speed limit is probably 100-110 over.[Edited on October 1, 2005 at 3:00 PM. 10/1/2005 2:59:55 PM
sorry... that was a typo... 147ish.... not over the speed limit... i don't remember what the speed limit was, so i don't konw how much over it was

my speedometer only went to 85 when i used to floor it in my truck when i would be coming home after closing at wendy's at 2 or 3 in the morning the summer after highschool. so i don't know what i was doing.that being said, what exactly is the new ordinance? and what was the old situation that it changes?[Edited on October 2, 2005 at 2:41 AM. Gotten the Z up to 143 in a 55. Highest I've ever had her before that I remember.
10/2/2005 8:19:08 AM
Overby hasn't written me back yet. Lazy bastard.
10/3/2005 8:33:22 PM
10/3/2005 10:08:04 PM
^no, i've driven vehicles that would do it at 110-120 though. owned one vehicle that would do it at 85-90 or less.
10/3/2005 11:26:40 PM
yeah...i dont doubt you at all, i find it humorous that people think that just because a vehicle is lifted that it is slow, my jeep smoothed out and rode like a cadillac when going over 90.i think that i may have avoided a few tickets where i know i was going way over just because the cop thought that a big jeep/truck cannont go that fast or knew that the speedo was off because of the tires/gears and was feeling nice, its happened too many times to be a coincidence[Edited on October 3, 2005 at 11:34 PM.
