9/23/2005 9:39:20 PM
I fail to see how this is Newegg's fault.
9/23/2005 10:14:36 PM
Hey, you can save money at newegg or you can pay for better service.
9/23/2005 10:51:15 PM

InFocus X2 800x600 DLP Projector 1600 max ANSI lumens 2000:1 full on/full off - RetailModel #: X2Item #: N82E16824140018** This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only.
9/24/2005 8:40:50 AM
I don't really consider this as warranty work. The thing arrived DOA. Either it got beat-up in shipping, or in the warehouse somewhere.NewEgg shipped me a defunct product. They should be able to deal with, exchange me another projector and they deal with Infocus.^and if you click on the little "?" next to that it reads at the bottom:
9/24/2005 10:35:42 AM
9/24/2005 10:48:52 AM
I'd agree that the manufacturer should deal with it, if it were outside the "newegg customer satification..." time. And I better not have to pay shipping...
9/24/2005 11:06:08 AM
Not NewEggs fault. Quit being a little bitch and follow procedure.

Actually.. i'm not sure it is the bulb now.It came back on, ran for a few minutes. Then it flashed, and shut off again.Any ideas?
9/24/2005 3:15:01 PM
wouldn't that flash be the bulb burning out
9/24/2005 3:19:51 PM
Not when it might come back on later...
9/24/2005 3:27:52 PM
have you tried replacing the bulb?that might work.
9/24/2005 3:35:16 PM
Got one coming. No one remotely local to me has one, so I had to order one.
9/24/2005 3:52:37 PM
also, you shouldn't be scared to make calls during work hours. If you are, you should kick your manager in the nuts.
9/24/2005 3:59:55 PM
9/24/2005 4:07:46 PM
You: Newegg, my whole projector doesnt work, i am not smart enough to know exactly what is wrongNewegg: Sure sir, return it and we will send you a new one. You: Thank you Newegg, you're the greatest.you outsmarted yourself with the bulb thing.[Edited on September 24, 2005 at 4:12 PM. Reason : x]
9/24/2005 4:11:59 PM
you do have to pay your own shipping for sending something back to newegg; even if it's their fault.
9/24/2005 5:30:52 PM
a LOT cheaper than a bulb
9/24/2005 9:44:35 PM
I'll need the bulb later anyway...
9/24/2005 10:08:40 PM
1) you asked for a replacement part. Newegg doesn't stock that so they sent you to the manufacturer2) CALL newegg. it's free. I bet if you ship it back they will send you a new one. If you whine about having to pay shipping costs then go through the manufacturer who won't charge you but that takes longer.
