It's a pricing error... I doubt you'll get the Computer and Monitor.
9/22/2005 4:03:51 PM
if you follow it through it comes out to $1,253.50, the $82 sales tax adds a bit
9/22/2005 4:25:38 PM
They actually found a way to reduce it to $990 before tax before it ended.

not a pricing error and Dell honors every deal on it's website. They also are trying to snag a HUGE market share from other manufacturers right now.[Edited on September 23, 2005 at 10:51 AM. Reason : !]

just think, this deal was probably limited to first 1,000 people, yet the buzz from the deal will keep shoppers shopping dell for at least the next month, it's pure marketing genius... not to mention when you're at the top you can afford to make a sacrifice on 1,000 computers...[Edited on September 23, 2005 at 10:57 PM. They have that bit of legalese but they DO honor almost every deal. And yes this is a VERY good deal. The monitor alone costs that much.

i've never really had a problem getting slickdeals as long as they aren't pricing errors....dell actually did cancel an order for an axim i had placed a couple years ago (don't remember the specifics, but it was about 1/3 of the regular price)....but the LCD i'm using now was a dell deal posted on slickdeals[Edited on September 26, 2005 at 4:17 PM.
