here it goes... I recently stumbled across Michael Moore's website. I believe everyone has known about his antics for quite some time, but today I feel especially disgusted with this individual. First, let it be known that Moore is very well known for his characterization of George W. Bush. Now, I am by no means a W fan, but I find that Moore's celebration by liberals revolting. Liberals praise this man, even call him a saint for defaming the president of the United States. I understand the cut-throat arena that politcs today take place in, but to praise a man who is not running for what are almost mutinous allegations is ridiculous. Moore has every right to speak his mind, it is constitutionally protected to some extent... however, I think it should be noted that if he wants to make a difference, and not simply contribute to the downward spiral of partisan politics in this day and age (like he says he does) he should not defame the challenger but support vigorously the person he wants to put in charge. Perhaps Moore should buck up and run for office and put his money where his rather large and libelous mouth is. That is all... have a good day! [Edited on September 12, 2005 at 5:52 PM. Reason : a]

not any more than yours, I guess I was just "feelin' it" Agreed, I don't like Bush, and I detest Moore and the other left wing activistsI wish deep down that the Dems could put a decent candidate up for prez, but I don't see it happening in 08
9/12/2005 6:03:04 PM
i detest left wing activists who focus on bush or the war (the 2 things you really have no control over)id rather focus on the environment and anti-racism/sexism/discrimination of any kind.

Micheal Moore can't run for office. He would have to shower, shave, and comb his hair. Three things he obviously a strong opponent of.

I don't think wtbrowne is trying to 'show moore up' he is simply saying that Moore is a calculating slob who is bad for the country and if MOORE is so upset with the status quo, why doesn't he get involved.
9/13/2005 12:27:58 PM
so hes saying that Moore isnt involved enough?running for office isnt the only way to bring about change.[Edited on September 13, 2005 at 12:31 PM. Reason : fg]
9/13/2005 12:30:17 PM
true, but read the rant that started all this, he is saying that Moore is getting involved the wrong way. the right way according to this guy (whose opinion at least in his mind matters) is to back the person you want and enforce positively his ideas, not by hurting the guy you don't want to occupy an office, unnastan?
9/13/2005 12:36:05 PM
thanks...i couldnt make it past the 2nd line of his rambling.
9/13/2005 12:37:25 PM
i know right i'm just bored and unemployed, all i got is time to read these rants!
9/13/2005 12:40:48 PM
perhaps im misinformed but i thought studies showed that positive ads werent as effective. either way...if you think about it, these slanderous ads every 2 minutes during election season are much more effective/influential than one movie to the common united states idiot voter. again, repetition works wonders (that one MM cram session wont be as effective as studying the ads night after night....LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS).[Edited on September 13, 2005 at 12:43 PM.
