Are you on a one or two year contract? I know they'll do an "early upgrade" if you're more than 1 year in, but less than 2. You just have to sign a new 2 year contract, and you'll only have to pay the "2 year contract" price for the phone. Cell phone prices are a ripoff anyways. They're horribly overinflated to force you into signing a contract. My phone died about 3 months ago and I nearly needed the thumbprint of God himself to get it replaced for less than $200.[Edited on September 10, 2005 at 12:01 AM. Reason : spelling impaired]

just CALL customer support and tell them you want to cancel your service and when they ask why tell them because your phone sucks ass and if you sign up with a new provider you can get a free phone. i guarantee they will offer you a new phone to not cancel
