So the feds didn't want to "invade" a southern state with a democratic governor, the governor didn't want to give up her command to the feds to get aid (although conditions were deteriorating at that point), and the feds still wouldn't do it until they were sure they could do it without major legal/political consequences.SOOOoooo... Basically there was so much bullshit in place that served as an obstacle to the relief effort that relief took a long time to get down into the affected areas.Everybody loses?Oh well, at least it points out the views of both sides.
