so i have thousands of mp3 files and dont know how to store them. I guess i could put them all on CD-RW's. How big do flashdrives get??Is it worth it to get an external HD or something similar?I really want them to be all in one place, and ready at the click of the mouse. This is why i dont wanna do CD-RW's or an IPOD or anything like that. What should i do?????

honestly what i'd do is either get an external enclosure for an internal harddrive with usb 2.0 or get an external harddrive with usb 2.0either way your music is now portable

I'd say the easiest is burning to DVDs.I can't imagine it taking more than 10 disks for a few thousand mp3s.

^ that would be the cheapest thing, but a pain in the ass if he's got over 40 gigs worth of stuff. usb harddrive would be the easiest. you can find 160gb drives for about 130 usually, cheaper if you look around for sales.

I use my old 80GB hard drive in an external USB 2.0 case. Works great! I figure when I fill it up I'll just add it to my PC and name the drive MUSIC.
