Basically, it seems that prisoners who haven't been charged with anything, but are still being detained, are trying to get some fair treatment. If the gov. DOES have specific reasons for detaining these guys, why not just give them their trials and find them guilty? If they don't have any good reason to keep them, why not let them go?

I don't know the details, but this doesn't seem like an American™ thing to do.

Gitmo was poorly handled. They should have been pushed through the system legitimately years ago and sent straight back to the facility there.

I do find it entertaining that a bunch of people who have never enjoyed the American system, who have a questionable right to participate in ours, and who generally would never institute it in their own countries given the chance are demanding to take advantage of it.
