suspension's shot on my 91 mr2, i've got new illumina struts and prokit springs as an overhaul, anyone volunteer to do the work? or suggest a shop... i've had ok work done at soto's on hillsboro st, i don't know about any other shops in town. i'd do it myself but i don't have the tools or the space to do it.

Should do your own supsension..a shop is going to charge you out the ___ for it. How long do you think it would take you, and what tools are you missing?

do you know how to do the work? IE: i'll provide the tools, space, and help and you provide the knowledge to actually do it?

are they lowering springs? you might not need a spring compressor to put them together, you should be able to install them with a floor jack and hand tools. air would be better, but not necessary.might want to get an alignment after.

you will need spring compressors. unless you plan on buying new spring caps.

unless you plan on shooting your springs at people

you can borrow spring compressors from advance, its about the only safe way to do it

i really would like to do the work myself, but i've never messed with suspension before. all i've got is the full repair manual for my car as far as know-how

Suspension is not that difficult. Just rent a spring compressor, and if you have a decent set of tools, you won't have a problem.

yeah i don't have a good set of wrenches or a torque wrench or a lift. scrager, you still offering space to do it? i'll rent the compressor if you don't have it.
