Does this exist?Im talking small, like densities of say 4000 poles per sq inch. basically a bunch of really small contacts with tiny magnets whose poles can be flipped by some electric means.If anyone has heard of or even seen something remotely similar please let me know.

nah not that dense. Each pole needs to generate a field, not be affected by one.
