i'd recommend Sam's Club for decent in-person (rather than online) deals-ZiP!-

ah you're right, how could i forget about Sam's, I used them a long awhile ago...they do have good prices, the cheapest i could find are some dunlops for $91....but i'm leaning towards some kumhos which sams does not carryhttp://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+ASX&partnum=245WR7EASX&partnum=44WR7EASX&vehicleSearch=true&place=28&index=28

I got a set of these from TireRack and got Hubcap Heaven to put them on for me. They charged $75 for all 4 and they worked with me on an appt time so I didn't have to miss much work. Locally I think DiscountTire.com (they have one store on Six Forks, one on Hwy 55) list ASX's on their website, check with them for pricing.

I got 4 new tires installed with extended tire warranty for $240. I can get them balanced, checked, and rotated for free through the warranty.

ive got some 225/45r17 kumhos 712s for $425 a set installed+alignment checked at merchants in cary. of course i had to bargain with those bastards, cause they wanted to charge me over 500 or so when i first walked in.
