Interesting. The history channel has that "The Color of War" show that has colored film from WWII. It looks way the fuck different in color.

8/24/2005 4:40:50 PM

8/24/2005 6:08:15 PM
YOU KNOW THEY DID HAVE COLOR CAMERAS AND SHIT BACK THEN
8/24/2005 6:52:15 PM
Not really. Color film was invented in 1941 and wasn't really accessible until after the war. Technicolor(three b/w cameras with color lenses) had been around since the turn of the century.

Interesting, to say the least.

Germany used color film almost exclussively. It was hitlers way of saying, "Look at us great Germans."
8/25/2005 8:29:33 AM
both kodachrome and agfacolo were out in the 30's

I stand corrected. Kodachrome was developed a bit earlier than I thought. The idea behind technicolor was used long before the name was patented(like 1860's). Wizard of Oz was technicolor, of course............................[Edited on August 25, 2005 at 11:22 PM. Reason : .]
