Sony brand. When I turn the TV on, it flashes blue for a little while, then goes black and the "standby" light on the console blinks continuously. Any ideas?

try unplugging it and then plugging it back it...otherwise it sounds like a bulb issue

i'd say bulb too... which is good... you're only out of $200.

Honestly I'd visit the avsforums.com

They know everything; just search for your TV model or post a new thread in the forums.
