Pat Robertson can take his neo nazi christian fundamentalism proganda and shove it up his ass. Theres so many things that are two faced and corrupt in his blathering its not even worth my fucking time to pick apart.[Edited on August 23, 2005 at 2:01 AM. Reason : .]

8/23/2005 9:59:59 AM
omgz no muslims in greenland!!!!!!!...must be some type of holocaust going on up there cuz it used to be a muslim haven.[Edited on August 23, 2005 at 10:52 AM. Reason : cuz muslims, like black ppl, love snow]
8/23/2005 10:52:01 AM
Pat is laughable as always, but I do favor assasinations over the uncountable atrocities that inevitibly occur during war.
8/23/2005 10:56:13 AM
GET EM
8/23/2005 1:18:31 PM
I love how we call it "terrorism" when Islamic Fundamentalist Clerics urge their followers to assasinate leaders....but when Pat Robertson says the same thing...we call it Right Wing Conservatism. This guy is disgraceful to Americans and Christians. What's even worse is that he uses his Christian television show "the 700 Club" to promote his hate-filled message. As a Christian, I'm disgusted.
8/23/2005 1:22:04 PM
I would rather Pat Robertson just do it himself. That would be one of the most hilarious acts of war ever.
8/23/2005 1:22:22 PM
Yeah, but he's always asking someone else to do his dirty work."Oh please assassinate the bad Venezuelan for me, U.S. government.""Hey God, how 'bout rubbing out a couple of liberal Supreme Court justices for me?"[Edited on August 23, 2005 at 1:27 PM. Reason : .]
8/23/2005 1:26:42 PM
I just pictured Pat Robertson sneaking through the jungle in a ghillie suit.

8/23/2005 1:49:22 PM
oh yeahduh
8/23/2005 1:55:47 PM
Robertson is crazy. No one takes him seriously.
8/23/2005 2:10:58 PM
I don't think even a lot of Christian Fundamentalists take Pat Robertson seriously. Better to just ignore what he says than to give him the attention he so craves.
8/23/2005 2:11:50 PM
8/23/2005 2:14:05 PM
Redguard, I have to disagree man. He doesn't have a nationally televised TV show for nothing. Obviously his ratings aren't that bad. I think a lot of Christians take guys like Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell seriously....and that's very scary.Republicans also take Robertson seriously. He heads up the Christian Coalition...which is a highly mobilized and funded political machine. Robertson and his group have a large amount of political clout on Capital Hill, and shouldn't be underestimated. Honestly, the Republican party basically adjusted its platform just to cater to the wishes of this voter base.

Last spring, I read a book for one of my religion classes called "Between Jesus and The Market" by Linda Kintz. The book was about the influence that the religious right has on our secular politics. It was really interesting and really opened my eyes to just how much influence the conservative evangelical agenda has on the Republican Party. [Edited on August 23, 2005 at 2:46 PM. Reason : .]

8/23/2005 3:04:43 PM
dobson for the most part just wants people to get closer to Jesuswhich i can agree withhe doesn't really butt in to politics the way falwell/pat doand sharpton is just the man
8/23/2005 3:17:32 PM
I agree that Dobson's a nice guy...wants to get people closer to Jesus, etc. And for that I commend him. But just like the rest of the religious right...he's only concerned with gay marriage and abortion. He pitched a fit about a Spongebob gay tolerance video...but says nothing about the vast social injustice issues going on around the world. You're right though...Dobson does typically keep his nose out of the political arena.
8/23/2005 3:27:32 PM
waitdobson did the spongebob shit?dammithe didwhelpi triedguess now its just al sharpton[Edited on August 23, 2005 at 4:26 PM. Reason : WHISTLES GO WHOOT WHOOT]
8/23/2005 4:25:10 PM
Dr. Dobson? Keeps his nose out of politics?Y'all are out of your minds. Maybe 10 years ago that was true, but he's as much of a political activist as he is a minister and author these days.I think that he is a genuinely good guy, but I wish he'd tone down the political activism.
8/23/2005 5:07:51 PM
dangittobviously i haven't listened/read anything of his in probably 3 or 4 yearsbut back in the day he seemed genuinely cooloh well

Now, will people be expressing similar outrage when or if the Bush Administration/U.S. Government calls for the invasion of Venezuela or the assassination of Chavez?
8/23/2005 5:59:02 PM
of course not! gotta support them fightin' men!

in all fairness, he is 1 on a long list of world leaders that need a shot to the headit's just stupid and hypocritical for pat robertson to say it
8/23/2005 6:25:33 PM
So why's he so bad? He's a socialist, but beyond that...? People aren't disappearing under him. There's no civil war in Venezuela. He's democratically elected...
