^ you catch on pretty quickly

hahah the n00b fits in well around here

cool concept, but not practical, just use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and pastethey need to get antialiasing working on it, then put it on a Mac, then it will fit in perfectly

looks like a resource hog to me..

Is it really that difficult to drag the window to somewhere else on the screen?
8/22/2005 2:11:38 PM
looks uglier than sin to me

watch the video of it in action, its more impressive than those static screenshots showhttp://liihs.irit.fr/dragice/foldndrop/foldndrop_low.avi

I mean, I guess it might not look that ugly animated, but you were on the right track with Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V...Windows-D, select file, Ctrl-X/Ctrl-C, Alt-Tab, Ctrl-Vtakes like half a second. I can't imagine the folding being any faster than that without being consequently hard to control.

useless
8/22/2005 4:30:24 PM
as useless as windowblinds.

i really like the idea actually. nevermind that the "fold" is a little ugly, it's mostly just a proof of concept. it's unique and new, and if OSX implemented this all of you'd be secretly (or openly) drooling, and trying to duplicate it in Windows.innovation is a very rare thing, and few people are talented enough for it.

yeah, i like it too. i'm all about keyboard shortcuts but sometimes when you got a ton of windows open, it's quicker to drag stuff than alt-tab through everythingand i don't know what all y'all are talking about windows-d for, sometimes you want to paste in places other than the desktop[Edited on August 22, 2005 at 10:26 PM.
