I have a synaptics mouse pointer on my laptop(1.6 GHz, xp) and I hate the tapping function on it

I've noticed lately that everytime the computer hibernates and is turned back on, the tapping function reverts to default, but none of the other settings revert to default

anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Check in the NGR control panel.

just go to run from the start menu and type ngr_4lf and the control panel will come up. It should be self explanatory after that.

Yeah, it's usually those damn NGRs that are getting misconfigured.

PM baonest and he'll be more than happy to walk you thru that.
