will gmail work on my v550?

I have the following settings

ISP settings: GPRS
Email Provider: Custom
Protocol: POP3
UserID: (my email)@gmail.com
Password: *****
sending host: smtp.gmail.com
sending port: 465
receiving host: pop.gmail.com
receiving port: 110
Return Address: (my email)@gmail.com

some other things but they're pretty much default im guessing (auto sign, notfication, etc)

I have my shit setup similar to that page but it doesn't work

I made this thread in hope that someone with gmail has it working on their cingular phone and can show me my fault.
