I have a bit of car trouble. About two weeks ago, I was in a minor wreck (no one hurt) and one of the headlights on my '94 Ford Taurus is busted, along with the bumper being pulled out and nearly falling off on one side. We have secured the bumper with cord and duct tape but it still looks like crap and may or may not pass a safety inspection (it is still about half a foot out from where it should be).I took it to Crossroads Ford and a) the estimated repair cost is very close to the value of the car (which admittedly isn't much) and possibly over, and b) they don't do partial repairs. Well, I drive back from work after dark, so I need the headlight fixed at the bare minimum. And if I could go to someone willing to do a patchwork job they might be able to reattach the current bumper properly instead of getting a whole new one. Could you recommend a reputable body shop that won't overcharge, and is willing to work with me to get the car to where it's not falling apart while saving money? I am quite willing to drive a junk bucket around, so long as it gets me to work and to school, and won't get me pulled/will pass safety inspections.

I think i saw you somewhere yesterday, atleast i say a mid 90's taurus with a headlight busted and the bumper attached with cords. Honestly you arent going to get it repiared for anything far from the cost of the vehicle. You should most likely PM me about getting a new car.

Well in doing what I do I know when it's a good time for someone to get out of a bad situation in a car.
