Will a heatsink/fan combo for an Opteron (940 pin) also work on a Sempron (754 pin)?

I am putting together a sempron system and need a low profile fan (1U case). I found one that will work for opteron/940 pin, but I'm not sure if it is the same size as the 754 pin ..

That all depends on the specific heatsink/fan combo. Some fit, some don't.
