8/11/2005 3:55:48 PM
yea its funny seeing a lot of ppl put premium in their cars thinking its SOOO much better for them and theyre doing the car a favor..morons.some cars really do need it though, just to stop them from knocking like hell...hell i'll run the mid-grade stuff in the corvette if prices get much higher...well, until i get the heads/cam on
8/11/2005 3:58:32 PM
8/11/2005 4:05:10 PM

8/11/2005 7:51:03 PM

8/11/2005 8:12:21 PM

8/11/2005 8:19:44 PM
^^^^I hope Manassas is close by (not too sure on VA geography) otherwise thats a waste of time and money.
8/11/2005 8:24:32 PM
Yea the LT1 is Premium Only. Trust me, I wish it won't. Esp. since I wanna take it to Myrtle Beach this weekend. The wife wants to take our damn Buick, but thats no fun to cruise with.
8/11/2005 8:43:02 PM
^^if you live downtown DC it is a waste of time and money of course. 20 miles from DC, from fairfax it is ok.
8/11/2005 8:47:56 PM

i'm about to drive my S2000 from Pensacola, FL to Raleigh.and i don't even wanna think about how much it's gonna cost, especially if you factor in the cost of Mobil 1 and 18" G-force KDWs on top of fortyeleven gallons of high-test.
8/12/2005 10:31:59 AM
8/12/2005 10:44:19 AM
man i love my civic at an average of 33-35 mpg on the highway with regular
8/12/2005 10:46:33 AM
8/12/2005 10:51:28 AM
^^^your 305TBI doesn't have a late model f-bod's ridiculous 6th gear. i doubt the EPA rates the car at 32 mpg highway, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone pulled it off.
8/12/2005 11:10:41 AM
$2.53/gallon for regular this morning in garner.
8/12/2005 11:19:24 AM
http://www.raleighgasprices.com/
8/12/2005 11:45:13 AM
my ls1 sure as fuck doesnt get 32mpg unless i'm going downhill in 6th at 60mph a lot...Unfortunately 60mph is about where it gets the best mileage...although I highly doubt your friends LT1 does either, but whatever...
8/12/2005 2:59:33 PM
i saw 26-28mpg frequently in my 94 lt1. running 70-80mph and not really driving in a fuel efficient manner in general. 30-31 in my dad's c5 once going 70-75 on the way to wilmington. i don't even bother to look at gas prices anymore, just swipe my card bite the bullet and put it in.
8/12/2005 3:33:31 PM
damn, good mileage... mine always shows up higher on the dic display than it in actuality is. its usually off around 3mpgoh well, when we runnin these things
