I'm actually using my new pda to type this up. Unforunately, I can only do this while hooked up to my laptop. My brother has tried almost everything and we still haven't had any progress Anyone know what we may be doing wrong? I hope I'll be able to use the university's wireless capabilities before the end of the summer.

aximsite.com

Have you tried the Odyssey Client crap? Supposedly its the most effective for hotspot logins. I've only ever used home networks that people leave open so not had to mess with logins.

the x50v is supposed to be build in with wifi and bluetooth and all that jazz...I figured that I wouldn't need to actually get a card.

I haven't taken it to campus yet, so I don't know how easily it would be for me to get online. I have one of those Linksys Wireless G routers, and we made sure to open up a port for it. The wireless will get a "poor" or "normal" signal for it, but it won't allow me to actually view a website with it.

It's not too big of a deal though...as long as it can work on campus, I'll be happy. I could care less if it works at home, since I'll have my laptop at home. I'm just sure it'd be convenient to be able to go wireless at the house (like if I'm taking a crap )

Go to the AximSite forums. When I first got my X30h I clicked the wireless button and I was on ESPN.com in seconds. No need to configure anything or go through anything else. Picked up 3 routers in my neighborhood and just selected one.

I don't think the Pocket PC platform supports PSK yet...so that might be your problem.

I know my PocketPC 2003 PDA supported only WEP.
