I would think they would have iLife in there. Don't hold your breath though.

Other than that, congrats. Nice comp.

well the grand total has been 1799+179 (+ taxes in the Mini iPod) = $1990

but I will get the $179 rebate + I will sell the Mini iPod (expecting $179 (at least eBay) so ... 358 less

total = 1990 - 358 = $1632 ! thats not bad for a full product (comparing refurbished was 1649 (i think) ... it is refurbished + you ahve to wait (i went to south point and immediate pick up) and the refurb was only a GeForce 5200 instead the Ati Radeon 9600 .... GREAT TAX FREE WEEKEND!!

iLife will be included on the Restore DVD. The DVD will install a small application called "Software Restore" that will access .pkg packages on the DVD and install iLife + all of the OEM'd applications (WorldBook, etc)

they should replace it, but dont expect that kind of treatment from them after 14 days (or is it 30?)

when I bought a new 15" PowerBook, the HDD died 4 days after I got it. I took it back to the store and replaced it with no questions asked. Three weeks later, it did the same thing, and they wouldn't help me, I had to go through a bullshit process of mailing the new laptop off for "analysis." 10 days later I received the laptop back in the mail with an explanation of what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. I then had to send it back to them telling them to fix it, 10 days later I got it back.

I havent had problems since, but still it pissed me off that I got 2 lemons w/in a week of each other, and within a months time I already had to deal with getting it repaired rather than replaced.
