I recently acquired a first pressing vinyl of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Allegedly there is some random chatter at the end of the second side that is supposed to repeat ad infinitum when the record player hits the run-out groove. I know it's supposed to be there, because it is there in some form at the end of the CD.I can't seem to get this to work. Maybe my record player stops before the needle can make its course all the way to absolute end of the record. Does this only work on older players? Has anyone here heard this?
