I'm using a Netgear WGT624 that I had it set up for wireless internet with WEP 128 bit encryption and using wireless access card lists. My router would more or less just give out. Unable to access router page from a computer and had to shut down, and turn back on, in which tiime it would do the same thing in just a few minutes time.I am under the assumption that running a bittorrent service was to blame, but I'm not 100% sure of thisHas anyone ever had a problem similar and is there a solution to go about seeing that this doesnt happen again or as frequently?]

you need to register for ENG 101But that said, BitTorent use does fuck up the WGT624.My roommate always caused the router to boot every 10-15 minutes on an average.

was the problem based on the entire bittorrent service or the client that he used?

The serviceApparently, the router design has only so much control memory to keep track of open ports, and whenever that threshold is exceeded, it just reboots.Kinda annoying, but use BitTorent responsibly.
