what's good about royce?

can someone fill me in? i'm not particularly feeling that album (death is certain)... it's got a few catchy beats, but whats supposed to be unique about the voice/delivery/lyrics?

he's alright, I think his older stuff when he was still in tight with eminem was better

I think he's a mediocre rapper, which is why he's never got more press

He had some great lyrics and rhymes in "Bad Meets Evil" on the slim shady album.

"Boom" is a good song too. The rest of the stuff I heard from him didn't seem to have as much as impact though.. (but maybe i just havent heard his 'better' songs)

i agree, "boom" is pretty nice.

and i've gotta say, since posting this thread the other day, i've given that same album some more listens... its not exactly my favorite style, but it definitely is better than a lot of fools out there.

so basically, ive had a slight change of heart
