whenever i turn it on, a blue screen comes up and says something along the lines of "now dumping physical memory" and begins counting. i tried to put in a windows disc to reinstall but it wont boot the cd drive. i'm willing to pay more than 50 if someone can fix this shit and put a working copy of xp on here by thursday nite

It has been over 2 months - it must not be that important to you.

You should have called those PC nerds that drive around in the PT Cruisers. Even if they charged more than $50 you are still talking two months ago. Adjusted to inflation that's like $100 today
