the text "message boards" above the list of them on the front page should be a link to http://thewolfweb.com/message.aspx

"Today's Events" could link today's date in the calendar.

"Joke of the Day" should also link to the joke of the day

Also when in a thread, the Go button is too small - at least should be widened substantially.

you could also have a mail section on the front page (probably left column) where the subject lines for any new mail could appear.

usability would definitely be increased with a larger go button
