When you are on the main Message Board page, with all the section links listed and latest thread replied to, etc if you click on a thread that has more than 1 page, I think that link should take you to the last page.

For example, if the latest thread replied to is "what music are you listening to" in the lounge, if you click on that thread title on the main message board page (not the Lounge page), it should take you to the last page, not page 1. Just an suggestion.

the topic for "what music you are listening right now?" is followed by links to the first few and last few pages.

"what music you are listening right now? (Page 1 2 ... 121 122)"
by clicking on the 122 or whatever number is at the end it takes you to the last page.

That isn't what we are talking about. On the message board page, the page that lists all the sections, there is a link to the thread last posted on in each section. That link should take the user to the last page. It doesn't have page numbers next to it, and it takes you to the first page. So, if the "what music you are listening right now" was the last thread to be posted on in the lounge, and you click on it, it takes you to page one.

Now, let's say that the "las post" column for the lounge has the most recently posted on topic as "what music you are liste....blah blah". The page numbers are not next to it. You click on the thread name, it takes you to page one. we think it should take you to the last page.

Well, usually, it's a thread that has many responses to it, and is pretty long, and one already knows about it if they are going to use the link. therefore, they would want to go to the end. i don't click on random threads that show up there unless i have read them before. i like to at least see who posted the thread first.

hmm..... i think it would defy logic to do this. all other message boards on the internet have it going to the first page. i've learned several important things from this site. one is once people get over the initial learning curve, they PISSED when you screw around with things! if you want to easily go to the last page, click on the "new" icon. it will also take you to the last reply!
