this only works with html on livejournal, but i wonder if it would be bent to crazycode

there's a way on livejournal to type in the code (lj user="*****") (replace () with <> of course)and have that user's name linked to their profile, i've been playing with it useing a href on here and linking to user profiles, but i wonder if there's anything that could be improved/streamlined, or am i sol for it
